Foxfield Railway is among the recently announced finalists of the Staffordshire Tourism & Good Food Awards in the Small Visitor Attraction for 2023. This follows their Gold winning year in 2022, which saw Foxfield recognised as the best Small Visitor Attraction in Staffordshire.
This fantastic achievement is being celebrated by all the volunteers at Foxfield, a 100% volunteer run organisation as well as their loyal visitors.
2022 was a hugely successful year both in terms of visitor numbers and new family experiences. Foxfield launched a series of special events over the school holidays including the very popular Dinosaur Academy and Wizard Adventure.
Foxfield’s season ended in triumph with record visitors to The Northpole Express – a new Christmas experience that delighted families from far and wide.
Foxfield is home to one of the UK’s oldest industrial steam railways, a heritage museum and cafe which opens every Sunday during the season.
